MiamiFuneralServices.com ("we", "us") is an independent directory of funeral homes in Miami-Dade County, Florida. We are not a funeral home. This policy explains what limited information we collect when you use this website and how it is handled.
We are not a covered health entity
We do not provide medical or funeral services and we are not a HIPAA-covered entity. Please do not send us medical information, information about a deceased person, or financial or identity details through any form or email on this site.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7RN724B6Y7) to understand, in aggregate,
how the site is used — pages viewed, searches run in the directory, clicks on
"call", "website", "directions", "compare", and "advertise" buttons, calculator and
comparison-tool usage, and outbound affiliate clicks. These interaction events record the
funeral home involved (public directory data) and the type of button — they do
not record your name, email, phone number, or the text you type beyond a
lowercased search term. Google Analytics sets cookies (typically _ga and
_ga_*) and processes data such as a truncated IP address, device and browser
type, and referring page. See

If your browser blocks analytics, the site works normally.
Cookies and local storage
The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics cookies described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site's own scripts do not store personal data in your browser.
Forms and email
The advertiser inquiry form on our Advertise page currently opens a pre-filled message in your own email application; nothing is submitted to a server from the form itself. When you email us (through a form or directly), we receive the information you choose to send — typically a business name, your name, an email address, and your message — and we use it only to respond to and administer your inquiry. We do not sell contact information.
Server logs
Our hosting provider and our content-delivery/security provider (Cloudflare) keep standard web-server logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, referrer — for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not combined with analytics data by us.
Outbound links, sponsors, and affiliates
Profiles link to funeral homes' own websites and phone numbers; those businesses have their own privacy practices. Our memorial flag-case section links to Flags Connections through the Awin affiliate network; clicking such a link records a non-identifying affiliate click event (merchant, product category, and destination domain only) and Awin / Flags Connections may set their own cookies once you leave our site. Your choices
You can block cookies or analytics in your browser, use Google's opt-out add-on, or use a tracker-blocking extension — the site remains fully usable. To ask what information we hold from an email exchange, or to have it deleted, contact us.
